Welcome to Hedgie’s Hot Stuff. Our mission is to be a socially and environmentally conscious producer of the best tasting salsa on the planet. Our produce is 90% locally grown, purchased directly Harvest Farm of Whately Massachusetts. Our spices come from a small local spice company. We buy our vinegar directly from the manufacturer in 55 gallon drums to reduce waste. The result is a vibrant salsa you’ll feel good about eating.

After 20 years of making this salsa for myself and my family I finally caved in to the demands to make it a business. We use fresh natural ingredients, never frozen or dehydrated, which we buy directly from local farmers whenever possible. In fact, Hedgies is produced in Greenfield Massachusetts using produce that is raised 12 miles away in Whatley. We use practically no salt, and we carefully monitor acidity and temperature levels at bot-tling to insure a long and happy shelf life.
As soon as you take a taste of this remarkable salsa you’ll find it hard to stop eating before the jar is gone, and you’ll know why our customers say Hedgie’s is the best salsa they’ve ever eaten!
P.S. Hedgie is our pet hedgehog. We adopted her a couple of years ago from a family who had been displaced by a fire.
